It’s right on the border of Colorado and New Mexico. 🏔️ There are two routes you can take, one is 2.27 miles and the other is about 4 miles! Beautiful Lake just minutes from Raton, New Mexico!! The park and grounds are very well taken care of and clean. The pit toilets are some of the nicer ones I've encountered and also clean in appearance. The Scenery is Post card worthy!! The few fish I've caught here have also been very colorful & healthy. I look forward to launching my little boat from one of the docks there. I believe there may be more than the two I...

Beautiful place. Fishing was terrible. Caught fingerling perch ALL DAY! NOT ONE TROUT! Second time I have fished here. Two completely different forms of fishing technique, same result. Too bad our trout lakes are turning into pike and perch lakes....
