Legacy Nature Preserve — Attraction in Four Corners States

Wonderful place for enthusiasts of natural and invasive weeds and thistles. Mostly hot, not great views, but it is fun to ride along the trail with your kids for a quick bike ride. If you want to connect with nature or really get a nice view or feel like you're out of the city, I suggest heading East up into the canyons. What do you get when you put a man made pond between a sewage treatment plant, landfill, stagnant lake, two airports, railroad tracks, and a busy highway? This place, that's what. Great biking paths, it is very undeveloped on purpose I believe so there is not much shade so in the summer it can be hot midday for sure. The paths are cleaned pretty quickly in the winter so it is available year round. Later in the year July- September the mosquitoes can be thick, they fog for them but they can still be annoying.
