Fun place near our home we thought to get a membership since it was so close to our house. where to start?I got there at the reservation time and then the lady at the front desk couldn’t find the reservation for our membership despite the fact that no one else was there and it was the one reservation. Even though I told her I had a membership it wasn’t until 10 minutes or so they finally get us in. By that time my 3 year old was fussy having been in a room with animals all around he couldn’t get to. Once into the place there was a lady on top of us all the time. I have a kid that just turned 3 and curious about everything ... this place is supposed to be for kids to explore and interact with animals and all I heard was “don’t do this, don’t touch that“ horrible experience I couldn’t even stay 15 minutes there and spent more time waiting for them to find the reservation. NOT COMING BACK or recommending this place to anyone. We paid $70 for a month membership for 3. (They are not even very professional after they just replied to me to this...
Read moreLil' Buckaroo's is the most amazing place! We took our preschool families for a field trip and it was so perfect! Morgan was wonderful to work with and made the process so easy. The petting zoo was quite an experience! The farm was clean, and beautiful. The animals were happy, friendly, and very good with the children. I was amazed that we got to spend time with each type of animal, pet them, learn about them, and then spend time with our favorite ones. I was also impressed with the variety of animals and the ways we were able to interact with them. Morgan was great with the children. She was patient and did well explaining and teaching according to the children's age and attention. I highly recommend this to families or anyone looking for a field...
Read moreThis is an excellent petting zoo with a nice variety of animals and helpful staff! Petting zoos in general are child-oriented, but this one at least is fun for everybody.
Entry was 15$ per person and treats to feed the animals were extra: $3.50 for a handful of the goat/sheep/pony treats and a little less for cow or chicken specific treats. You get in for an hour, and you can spend it with whichever animals you want in any order. Each type of animal has their own gated area, so your party can spend time with the animals you like while the other groups are elsewhere. All of the animals were friendly, though the giant rabbits seem to be lethargic until the evening.
Expect to get your clothes chewed by goats and your shoes to have some poop on...
