Awesome arch, awesome hike, although I wouldn't call it easy, there are quite a few steep sections so I think it should be considered moderate even though it's only about 3/4 mile to the arch. If you want an easier hike head over the little bridge by the trailhead to the left fork instead. This hike is best in about May before it gets overgrown, or in late September through October when fall colors are happening (my recommendation). It costs $5 to come in here - the trailhead for the left fork and middle fork (arch is along middle fork hike) are both only 100 or so feet past where you pay. Requires cash or public lands pass. There is a restroom not far from the trailhead, which is within a campground. It's dog-friendly like nearly everywhere in national forests. There's a sign that says Uinta National Forest as you're driving in on the moderately bumpy dirt road (which we did just fine in our very low clearance Honda Odyssey), although the sign is nearly a decade obsolete, Maple Canyon has for a while now been part of Manti-La Sal...
