Mirror Lake in North Eastern Utah is an absolute gem for any fishing enthusiast. As soon as I arrived, I was captivated by the breathtaking scenery that surrounded the lake. The Uinta Mountains provided a stunning backdrop that made me feel like I was in a postcard.
The fishing experience here was beyond my expectations. The crystal-clear waters were teeming with a variety of trout species, making it a paradise for anglers. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a beginner, there's something for everyone.
The best part about Mirror Lake is the peacefulness and serenity it offers. Being away from the hustle and bustle of city life, I felt truly connected with nature. It's the perfect place to unwind and recharge.
I also loved the well-maintained trails around the lake, which allowed me to explore the area further. Hiking through the wilderness was a rewarding experience and a great way to immerse myself in the beauty of the Uintas.

Read moreLove #MirrorLake in the beautiful High #UintaMountains of Utah. I come up at least once a year. Sometimes I Camp, sometimes just to visit and hike. I love camping with the dark skies to see the stars. The Camp sites are wonderful and diverse, some overlook the lake, some overlook the tree filled valleys. All sites grant easy access to the lake and have close by water and toilets. The cooler temperatures during the summer is a fantastic escape from the city. I enjoy coming late summer as the bugs aren’t a problem. The nights start to get cold and the morning can be crisp but it’s a great time of year to come. Visiting on weekdays is great as the crowds are not there. The lake is spectacular with Beautiful reflections of #BaldMountain and surrounding nature. It really is like a Mirror. The walk around the lake is an easy 1.5 miles which is great for older family and friends, and young kids can find plenty to see and do on the easy hike. Great fishing, wonderful boating. A beautiful jewel in the...
Read moreA seriously gorgeous lake that's good for fishing, boating, walking, and camping. A little warning though, storms can roll in fast here! We got caught in a hailstorm during our walk, and dang does it sting against bare skin. But this place is completely worth it. It's quiet, and peaceful. The views are gorgeous, and there's a huge variety of wildflowers all around the lake. Next time I might just bring a book on native flowers and wander around. The walk around the lake is an easy stroll with fairly even ground, some bridges, and partially boardwalk. There's also some wildlife to be seen here, we saw hawks and a beaver, but there's also opportunities to see owls, deer, mountain goats, etc. The weather was cool with a nice breeze too. All in all, a great experience that I'd like to...
