Tamburi Winery — Attraction in Four Corners States

Tamburi Wine has been my favorite since I found them at the Fort Collins farmer's market. As soon as I experienced these unique wines, I called to request a case to gift it forward, and enjoy more. I had to have a visit.

This exceptional local operation not only boasts a remarkable selection delicious wines from the years harvest sourced from Colorado grapes, that differ each year, it also offers a truly immersive atmosphere that makes every visit memorable. A few friends and I enjoyed a night of wine education, food and a lot of laughter and great conversation.

One of the highlights of Tamburi Wine is Altin, the knowledgeable wine maker whose passion for viticulture and zest for life shine brightly in every interaction. His deep understanding of winemaking is matched only by his enthusiasm for sharing it with guests. Whether you’re a seasoned connoisseur or a curious beginner, Altin takes the time to explain the nuances of each varietal, the terroir, and the winemaking process, making every tasting feel like a personal master class. Learning about his journey to get to where Tamburi wines is today was an education in itself. His deep passion dates back to a time where creating a drink to share means family and community.

Lisa, our wonderful and engaging host, enhances the wine tasting experience with her warm hospitality. From the moment you step into their backyard and tasting room, you feel at home. Lisa’s attention to detail was evident in the exquisite charcuterie board she prepared, featuring artisanal cheeses, duck patè, and fresh accompaniments that pair perfectly with the wines. Her thoughtful selections create a feast for both the palate and the eyes. Her vibrant and engaging energy are as delightful as the primitivo, effervescent!

Sitting among the wine barrels and fermenting vats adds another layer to this incredible experience. The rustic charm of their wine room, filled with the rich aromas of aging wine, creates an inviting ambiance that is both cozy and captivating. About 6 months ago I tried the Cabernet Franc, at a party and had been absolutely blown away by how amazing it tastes. I do not typically like red wine, and as a 21 year old who has become accustomed to drinking sickeningly sweet box white wine, this was a groundbreaking discovery for me.

For months i tried finding anything that tasted like the cabernet and was disappointed time and time again. I finally was able to get my hands on a bottle and it’s just as amazing as it was the day i got it. The flavor is obviously on point, but the best part is the very slight effervescence; if i can even call it that because it’s not quite fizzy or carbonated, it’s like a very unique sparkling-tannin sensation that one should really try for themselves. i ordered one bottle of each kind of wine they had and got it delivered to my door step by Lisa (very pleasant) the next day. i’m excited to be supporting a local business and I WILL be buying this for as long as it exists and ill also be taking some into...

Absolutely amazing experience! We visited Tamburi Winery for a private tasting with a group of six, and it was easily the best wine tasting I’ve ever done. The staff were warm, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience personal and engaging.

Their orange moscato was simply delicious — bright, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. I especially loved that their wines are sulfite-free — I didn’t get a hangover at all, which was such a pleasant surprise!
