I had really liked this place and always brought friends and family here who hadn’t heard of this place. The food and produce was always great but lately their produce hasn’t been as good and I was greatly disappointed by their strawberries. I had gotten one of their first batches of strawberries and they were amazing no complaints there and paid $60 for a full flat. More recently I went again and got a half flat and was greatly disappointed. I noticed they don’t want to cut their losses on somethings they sell and will leave it out even if the quality is bad. When I got my half flat of strawberries I saw one had molded so my husband went back and told them. He told me they told him “they are all going to be like that” and they gave him another half flat. The strawberries looked old and when I got home I was cleaning them in vinegar how they recommended we do on Facebook and I found more molded strawberries. I saved what I could but had to throw out most of it. For having to pay $30 a flat I was just so disappointed. They also had week old cotton candy that looked gross and was most likely stale. I think lemon grove is trying to save money by still selling these items but it’s better to continue to serve the good quality they used to than to try to save a few dollars. When I had gone to get these strawberries I had brought some friends and was embarrassed by the lack of quality because I always spoke so highly of this place. I hope they can get back to serving and providing high quality items like they used to. The first photo is from the molded strawberries batch and the second photo was the strawberries I first got with them that made me want to go get more. I should’ve have taken a picture of the whole half flat but I was too busy being upset having to throw most of them out honestly. They had posted on their facebook about a review left here that really wasn’t a valid review due to the persons complaint, but they did say they “… would have given this person an item she considered satisfactory and offered a refund on top” They did not offer a refund for the strawberries just simply said, “they are all going to be like that” and gave us a different half flat that was still molded. I’m definitely willing to come back here and change my review to a better one so long as their quality improves again.

What a great place! This place was recommended to me by friends who had visited it just a few days before. From the outside, it doesn’t look like much. Inside it’s charming. There is a produce section, and they also have artisan jams and relishes, honeys, and baked goods. The produce, which was mostly fruit, is extremely fresh and reasonably priced. I bought a bag of tangelos for five dollars And they are so delicious and juicy. They also have fresh lettuce and other veggies. One of the big draws is that they have Dole Whip ice cream every day, and rotate the flavors. There is a large seating area where tables and chairs and benches are arranged in cozy sitting areas. On the far end there was a food truck that was pumping out burgers and fries. It smelled delicious. I had just come from lunch, or I would’ve eaten something at the food truck. Roaming the premises are peacocks, exotic chickens and roosters. Also decorating the place are potted citrus trees. It was a whole experience package. I had my ice cream first and then went shopping. Besides a tangelos, I also bought some pumpkin spice bread. I thought it was pretty pricey, but it was delicious. This is a must stop if you’re traveling...

Made my first trip to The Lemon Grove in Yuma today. It's an oasis in the middle of a desert city.

They sell locally grown citrus, honey, and other goodies.

3x a week, a sourdough company called Simply Sourdough will sell sourdough bread, focaccia, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and other goodies. Unfortunately, today was a day they were not there.

There was also a food truck. I didn't visit the food truck today but I will next time.

Today, I had the Lemon Grove's mango dole whip that was soooo good!

The Lemon Grove has outdoor nooks for you to sit down and eat your meal and other goodies in private. The area was very peaceful...
