Update: her response below is so generic. They never tried to reconcile with us personally, just posted on our review as if they care
. Once the owner got my credit card number on file she went from the nicest person I’ve ever spoken to, to the rudest person I’ve spoken to. She told me on the phone “we’ll be here for anything you need and we are so so excited to host you”
. They ended up going out of town, not prepping the place correctly for us, and were extremely difficult to get a hold of or get actual answers. They also have a dog there that they let roam freely that the husband told us on the day we left, that it had bitten almost everyone there, him, the wine maker, their friends etc. he said “yea we have a real problem with him”
. But they let it roam freely around the guests. He would bark at us in attack mode when we came back to the house, and growled at me when I came into the kitchen and living room. In the end she ended up charging us for wines we did not drink as well as basically accusing us of stealing. I sent texts to the fraud department and my credit card. When we got there I just politely asked for the WiFi password and her response is “it’s on the cards all around the inn” instead of just giving me the password. This alone I would’ve thought nothing of until we tried to get a hold of her for other things and couldn’t get responses for over 3 hours. They left so quickly they forgot to leave the welcome instructions for everything they had available, as well as left all the wine cabinets empty. So we couldn’t even get WINE at the winery we stayed at and went and got wine at the grocery store. When I asked her how we can purchase wine, she didn’t respond for over 3 hours and responded with “we can restock?” Which was not only rude but still didn’t tell me how we get wine from them. Especially since they were hours away
They blamed previous guests for wine not being available, they blamed their drive out of town for their lack of communication, they blamed the winemaker for over charging us. All in all this woman ruined this amazing trip and experience I had planned for our 5 year anniversary and we...

My wife and I traveled to Grand Junction area in October 2021 to visit wineries. We decided to do a longer trip this time, visiting the wineries again and to do some hiking. We visited TWP on our second visit. Over the years, between Temecula, Paso Robles, and Napa California, Sedona and Tucson, Arizona we have been members of at least twenty wineries (currently six) and must have visited five dozen or more wineries. We can honestly say that TWP was the most unique of all the wineries we have ever visited.

We had the owners and the winemaker hanging out with us, pouring wine and talking about why they started the winery to how they make their wine. The most gracious hosts you can ever ask for. What a delightful visit. We are planning our next visit to the area and are going there to hang out with these guys again. With Corey in charge of wine making, yes they are making some world class wines here. Thank you Edwin, Shari and Corey for making our visit memorable and thank you for your hospitality.

There is so much more to this winery, you have to go there and find out...

Exquisite service with a stunning view, is only a few of the specialty’s you will enjoy at TWP.

If you would like to find a piece of heaven, with wine and hospitality, look no further than a visit here. Enjoy being charmed with South African service and an assortment of the finest Colorado wines. Your tasting will be offered with a charcuterie board and I would recommend the Big 5 tasting.

This property offers a perfect place to host a special event or a romantic celebration with rooms available in their inn. You may also request a special event dinner to be served for you and your guests. With extraordinary views of the Grand Mesa and Mt Garfield, decorated with excellent African artwork, dinner conversation promises to be interesting.

Later you may enjoy more fine wine around the fire lounge with your attentive host to take care of any and all special requests. This is a natural and eco-cert property. Hurry and schedule, with this type of accommodation they will start booking...

Absolutely incredible experience at TWP Winery! We showed up as a group of seven to celebrate a 40th birthday without a reservation, and the staff made us feel so welcome. They seated us quickly, even though we came in last minute, and every single detail from that point on was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious—beautifully presented and full of flavor. They even took the time to accommodate all our allergies without skipping a beat. After our meal, we were treated to a tour of the facilities, which included some charming animal companions like goats and peacocks! It added such a unique and memorable touch to our visit. The owner and Jenny made the experience even better with their humor and warmth, making us feel like part of the TWP family. Their hospitality and kindness truly set this place apart. TWP Winery exceeded all our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back!

Hands down the best winery in Palisade and a must go! Im not sure I can even put into words how enjoyable our visit was. Shari and Edwin make you feel like instant friends/family from the moment you arrive to the time you leave. We had a full day of wineries planned and just stayed here the entire day because there was no where else we wanted to be. The wines are absolutely amazing and the charcuterie boards are not only delicious but made with such attention to detail (we had a porcupine skewer that was so cool!). They add small touches throughout the whole experience that just make it above and beyond - true hospitality which we just don’t see much anymore. We will absolutely be back and I highly recommend everyone else visit too! You won’t regret it 😊
