Una Vida & Petroglyphs — Attraction in Four Corners States

Una vida was our first stop in The chaco culture national historical park. The trail is just to the right of the visitor’s center and a leisurely 1 mile stroll there and back. These ruins are only partially excavated but an excellent introduction into all this amazing, remote national park has to offer.

Just past the ruins is a short climb to the cliffs above where you can see some petroglyphs. My husband, two 5 year olds and 7 year old all did well...

Una Vida is a good start to a Chaco Canyon trip. A mostly flat gravel trail leads from the visitor center to the site. There isn't much left of the ruins, so unfortunately there isn't a whole lot to see relative to the other sites in the park.
