Caboose Park — Attraction in Fox Lake Hills

Tennis court, one basketball hoop they have a little free library a community garden, shelters to rent 3 different spots to check out a sled hill also volleyball nets to baseball diamond area. Two different sections of parking you can park up top next to the actual caboose park area or lower section next to the baseball field. You can do a nice walk around circle it’s about a quarter of a mile to go around 3 to 4 laps like 1 mile it also links up to the Grant Woods Forest Trail. Great park , although the last time I was here with 4 of my grandkids the young lady who works at the child care center next to the park came into the parking lot and didn't slow down even tho there were children present and when confronted let me know I should be watching my children she was only going 15 miles an hour 🫣 15 miles an hour could do damage to a child. Just watch your children when your crossing the parking lot I guess is the best advice , otherwise it's a great...

What a great little park! I love that we can access it from the walking trails in Grant Woods. The kids loved the caboose and really enjoyed the variety of equipment.

The park was super clean and well maintained, but some of the equipment is outdated and could be replaced. We were also disappointed that the Caboose isn't open, which I understand but could be fun for the kids!

Overall, there are many facilities and it's a beautiful park just could use...
