We've been to a number of orchards/farms in the tristate area and really enjoyed this one. We visited on a beautiful Saturday in mid-September and were pleasantly surprised the farm was not over-crowded. The parking was right near the farmstand, so no long walk from/to the car. The farmstand was full of delicious, farm-made goodies, including cider donuts, cider, fresh breads, and an amazing variety of craft Italian cheeses--the ones we purchased were delicious. A half-bushel of U-Pick apples came out to (very roughly) $0.50/apple, so a great deal compared to supermarket apples! The orchard was a short tractor ride or 1/4-mile walk up the hill (we walked by choice, as it was a lovely day). Rows were fairly clearly marked, the trees were young with easy-to-reach branches, and there were LOTS of crisp, ripe apples of different varieties (we went for mac, cortland, and honey crisp but didn't have time to explore the whole orchard). There wasn't much else to do--some calves to pet, and a small corn "maze" that seemed more like a thinly planted corn patch you could wander around in. So if you're looking for an afternoon of entertainment, go to one of the bigger (and more crowded) places, but if, like us, you're all about the apples and donuts (and CHEESE), this is the...
Read moreQuiet place. Got busy in the afternoon. Parking is decent. Cows and chickens to feed. A dollar for a hay ride that drops you off in the orchard. You can walk too. Free corn maze. $11 small bag, $28 larger bag, and $42 for a basket full of apples. Tap to pay before apple picking. Some pumpkins, too. They have soft server ice cream. Vanilla and pumpkin swirl was yummy. Apple cider donuts freshly made are delicious! The sell home made cheeses, fruit spreads, and a few other items. Friendly staff and visitors. The only complaint was that it was a little hard to find the good apples to pick, but we did find them, and it is a little late...
Read moreSuch a sweet farm! After being let down by many of the very large, very crowded, and way over priced farms in Morris County, we decided to head further west, and were lucky enough to find this hidden gem! So many apples to choose from and very reasonably priced! You get a nice long hay ride, corn maze, and petting zoo all included with the cost of your apples! My four kids and I got this amazing experience, and more apples than I know what to do with for $42! The mountain views and foliage were breath taking! I highly recommend their home made oatmeal cookies too! Thank you for the...
