CD&ME — Attraction in Frankfort

Man this is a really nice venue. We saw "The Purple Xperience" last night, which has to be the best Prince tribute band in the country. These guys are def on point. The sound on the outside stage was really good, better than some of the better known venues that I've been to. It's actually nice to go to a show, stand about 6' from the stage and not be smashed in-between sweaty drunk people...I go to, and have been to, many shows and I was blown away by the fact that we were so close to the stage and I wasn't bumping into or being rubbed up on like 10 people. The only thing that kinda sucked is that the stage is basically in a big gazebo so there are a couple big posts at the front of the stage, so if you're not in the middle front they might block some of your view. Besides that I would def recommend and come back...

As a luxury wedding photographer, this venue is a total dream—modern, airy, and surrounded by the kind of landscaping that makes every corner look like a magazine spread. The blue pond with its fountain is the chef’s kiss of photo backdrops during ceremonies, and the massive paved patio is perfect for everything from cocktail mingling to golden-hour portraits.

Inside, those gorgeous clear garage doors are the real show-stoppers. They flood the space with natural light (photographer gold!) during the day, then roll open after dinner so guests can float between the cozy indoors and lush outdoors --weather permitting. Honestly, it’s like two venues in one—industrial chic meets garden paradise.
