The farm, ambiance, and flower fields are five star. Im altering this review from 2 stars to 4 stars based on Anna's exemplary service and problem solving skills. She apologized to entire class and provided passes to return. This is a dedicated professional that values her customers and her brand. Visit the farm and enjoy the beautiful flowers
The 2 Star review is for the flower arranging workshop. $75, ZERO instruction. It was not a workshop. No examples, no demonstration, no instruction. I should have just bought the flower cutting experience and saved myself $50. Pictures showed experience in barn. Looked charming. It wasn't like that. We were outside on picnic tables with the general public. Went out for a night without kids. But instead kids were running by, crying and actually stopped by the table to snag flowers off our table. The table wasn't big enough and our flowers kept bumping in to each other while on table and in vase. Bought a lemonade but another guests flower leaves fell in the glass. Just not enough room to arrange flowwrs let alone have a beverage on the table. After an hour the owners brought fans and a table umbrella. They did have three food trucks with one person running them. Had to wait about 30 minutes for one to open to get some fluids. The workshop was overpriced, and not as described.it was supposed to be two hours. We were done in an hour and left as there was ZERO interaction with instructor. NOT A WORKSHOP! Suggestions: *Get someone who actually teaches floral arranging to run the workshop. Someone who will engage, teach, and give feedback *Put some water bottles on table *Get the workshop out of general public area *Have something branded to put on or in the display to promote your farm *Ribbon on table would be nice *Include an acrylic flower frog to help with arranging *Give a basket to hold flowers as you pick. Needed two hands to hold and cut flower. Had to put my bouquet on the ground every time *Offer a photo souvenier even at an extra fee. Photographer was on site for social media but no opportunity to purchase and download from photographer...
Read moreIf you're looking for a truly magical, one-of-a-kind experience just outside the Chicagoland area—The Wildflower Farm in Monee, IL is it! This boutique flower farm is a dreamy slice of heaven where you can handpick your own fresh blooms and create your very own bouquet. The moment I stepped onto the farm, I was completely enchanted.
The staff was so helpful, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. The entire place radiates warmth, joy, and care. You can feel that this farm is a true labor of love. The flower fields were bursting with color—Amaranthus, Zinnias, Snapdragons, Dahlias, Sunflowers, and so many more! It’s an absolute visual feast.
Prices are super reasonable and vary depending on the size of the vase you choose—and there’s even a discount if you bring your vase back on your next visit! I love that they encourage revisiting and make it affordable to do so.
Beyond flowers, their calendar is packed with fun and creative events—live music, food trucks, crafting nights, and even character visits for kids. I highly recommend following them on Instagram to keep up with their events—because it seems like something amazing is always happening!
There are picnic tables to relax at, snacks and drinks available for purchase, and even farm animals like ducks, goats, and chickens—plus fun kid-friendly features like pedal carts, a crank tractor, and a giant jumping pillow. It’s also disability friendly, which makes it even more special and inclusive (just a heads up that paths can get muddy after it rains).
I’m already planning to come back next week with my goddaughter for another bouquet and some farm fun. This place is so much more than a flower farm—it's a whole experience, and one that’s well...
Read moreA nice little farm that is more geared towards people with younger kids or flower enthusiasts. There is a bounce pad and a few enclosed animals for kids to observe (but don't feed them please! The signs say so) as well as a small tractor ride. The real star of the show is the ability to pay a fee for a jar to place flowers you cut. There are a stands to get either coffee, tea, lemonade, ice-cream, and cinnamon buns. If you're looking for anything substantial to eat, I suggest you eat before you arrive. All in all it's a great little...
