We visited Hurry Hill during Northwest PA's Maplefest in the spring of 2015. The main showroom was well appointed with an array of Maple flavored treats. The museum is full of artifacts of Maple syrup production over the last 200 years. During the Maplefest, you can ride a hay trailer back to their sugarshack. This was the highlight of the visit. A wood fired boiler is the center piece of the sugarshack. The boiler is attended by an incredibly knowledgeable and passionate syrup maker. Read moreA very informative tasting of various stages of maple sap (syrup, crumbs, bbq maple sauce, maple candy, maple cotton candy and maple mustard) is given. Oh they all tasted soooo good. A lot of historical displays are there and a great selection of maple products for purchase. Next week ( Halloween day) will be the last day for the Edinboro Area Historical Society Maple Sundae day.
