Lake Carmi — Attraction in Franklin

Beautiful place to relax and enjoy the view, however the presence of Cyanobacteria in the waters prevents people from swimming and enjoy it to the fullest. This is why I’m not giving it 5 stars. Lots of boats and Jetskis on the weekends too. Friendly staff. No cellular network in the park. They sometimes run out of ice during busy weekends. The firewood is dry and makes a nice bonfire. The park sites themselves are really beautiful and well maintained from our experience. Our biggest issue was the lack of cell service (which we knew about) and the limited wifi. I'd love to be totally disconnected, that sounds like a wonderful life, but we need to be available for our business. So for US that was a hiccup.
