On my hunt for unique things to do in Maine, I came across this place. I walked the whole thing in about 45 mins but there is an absolutely beautiful walking path around the whole quarry and there’s enough to see that you could spend a couple hours here. The quarry path is incredibly tranquil. I don’t know why, but walking on the path actually brought peace to me. It was lovely. They sell pieces, although it was unclear to me who really makes them? This little gem is such a surprise and so amazing! An outdoor garden and granite sculpture gallery all rolled into one! The indoor shop hosts beautiful and functional works of art in granite for purchase. There is even a book library on site! The grounds are simply gorgeous and the hiking trails just perfect for a nice, short hike around the pond. One of our favorite spots! And Obadiah is always a joy...
