My fiancée and I watched the 2024 eclipse here in totality and it was amazing. The campground hosts and USFS rangers were conscientious, knowledgeable, honest, decent, and kind. We had no idea the little slice of heaven we were walking into when we came here. The trails were challenging and fun, with a little bit of scrambling and rock climbing near the dam. Lots of bugs though! Plenty of places to hang out...

Rugged, wild, and absolutely beautiful. I first saw this place with my young 4 year old eyes, some 49+ years ago and I can honestly say that I never can get enough of this wonderful place, even now. It never gets old. Great for hiking, fishing, and this place is a photographer’s dream for landscape and wildlife photography. The Saint Francis River is beautiful...

Camped here one night and it was great. Three water locations, but site 9 has water right at the campsite. I stayed in site #5. It has a lot of sun during the day but was flat and spacious. Campground hosts were great and helpful. There are 3 main camps, only one has electric. I'd camp here again as it was a...
