Took about 1-2 hours to hike around the area. As of 4/16/2023, we saw a nice blooming mustard field before passing the entrance, and they don't allow parking near the mustard field so you would need to either park the vehicle inside the park or away from the area. Also, there are lots of golden poppy flowers on the hills facing the water, but unfortunately the majority are not too visible because they have been outgrown by other non-flowering plants. However, there are other types of flowers that adds beauty to this wonderful park.

Tip: Entrance was clogged up due to high demand, and there was no one at the kiosk so we had to pay with credit card using the...

Moderate to steep hike. Various hiking trail to take. super blossom with wild flowers all over the route. Need to pay for vehicle parking inside $5 but if you choose to walk a bit you can park just opposite of the coyote hill entrances, curb side parking. Look for busy hours ,may need to wait to enter because of parking payment and single kiosk...

Absolutely beautiful location, especially at sunset. Can be very windy at times. A couple of fun places to Boulder climb a little along the trail to the point. If you're lucky people will be flying their gliders from the peak too. Can be crowded on weekend so if going for a sunset picture make sure to grab...

About 40mins drive from Walnut Creek, CA. Beautiful state park that has great trails with exceptional views of the bay. Entry fee is $5 per day for cars. More than ample parking spots and super helpful visitor center (It has restrooms/drinking water). They have plenty of picnic tables and restrooms throughout the state park.
