This place was perfect for our little boys!! The water was a little chilly but easily got used to it, especially on a 90 degree day. My biggest complaint and could potentially keep me from going back: THE BUGS!!! The bugs were horrendous!! I felt borderline attacked at times. It was disgusting and they were everywhere!! In my hair, adhering to my swimsuit, biting me!!! These little beetle things and some other big fly thing that bites!! It was awful. Before we ever touched a drop of water, announcement was made that the entire facility was closed for thirty minutes because a toddler pooped in the kid area. After another two minutes of sitting around, announcement that the park was closed for the whole day!! I wanted to laugh, but my small son began to cry. I went to get our money back and I was shockingly refused a refund with no explanation. I tried to reason with the "supervisor" who appeared to be fourteen years old. Read moreI have driven by the Fremont Splash Station countless of times but this summer I finally stopped to enjoy it. I have gone back several times and love it. I have only gone on the weekdays in the afternoon and the crowds are not bad. I have always been able to get a chair and sometimes in the shade. They have lots of different things to do for kids of all ages including splash area, zero entry into the water, an obstacle course, water slides, and a wave pool.
