DIsappointed. They advertise 10 acres of mazes. They have three mazes, only one of which is what I'd consider decent sized. This maze was closed. When we asked the ticket attendant about the mazes, she said one was closed but she thought they'd open it. Then when later we asked about opening it she said they weren't planning on it. I don't know what changed in the half hour in between. I think we were misled before we bought the tickets. I later asked Farmer Charley, or whatever the farmer's name really is, he said the maze is on clay and he can't help wha tthe Lord does. I then inquired about a pass to return since the good maze, the one we came down for was closed, and he said we could buy one. So the answer was spend more money so you can come back later. This was outside of "The Lord's" venue and in his. This is way overpirced for what they offer and I don't think very customer friendly. I would advise everyone to avoid. I have been to several mazes and it looks like this one from the map is not one of the better ones anyway. If you decide your going to come I would call ahead and make sure the large maze is open, the one on clay. Who knows how often the better one will be open. None of the other mazes are remotely worth the $11 dollar enterance fee. Frankly I find it a bit objectionable they would use the "Lord's will" to justify a decision that they made in closing the larger maze. I will...
Read moreOverall I must say it was amazing. I arrived right when they opened and my kids got in at a discount price. We went on a hayride and got our pumpkins. The sell pumpkins by size instead of weight and I ended up getting there good sized ones for only $15 total. There donuts where AMAZING! They where bigger than the ones at Apple Charlie's and where made that morning. They had there mazes. A small learning maze, a medium maze (took about an hour to get through) and then a huge maze. We got lost in the huge one for about two hours wandering around. It was only after a "corn cop" helped us get out that we released they had maps we could use. We need up heading home and came back that night to do the mazes in the dark. It was awesome. We did the mazes backwards starting at the exit and working our way to the entrance. It was much more difficult and we got lost several times before we used our map to get out. The "corn cops" where friendly and helpful and Farmer Charley greeted us at the entrance as we left for the night. Their kettle corn was amazing and I really recommend their donuts. This was a great place to go with my family and I plan to cmd again next year. I could not believe the amount of people that showed up for their pig races. There had to of been at the very least 200 of use watching the pigs run along the track. This place is worth...
Read moreHave been going to Kackleberry Farms, with my family for years. Missed last year but went a couple weekends ago, with my Grandkids. Got there about 6:00, paid extra for the kids to do the extra things, ex: slide, two trains. Started off with the slide a couple times(kids loved this) then went to the corn maze. Got out of the maze at 7:00, waited for the tractor to come back for a hayride. Was then told that was the last hayride, it ends at dusk. Noticed trains weren’t running, so I asked an employee (very nice employee) he called somebody who said the trains were done for the day. Also the bounce pads were deflated, at that time, as well. I was confused since you say you’re open until 9:00. I even called and left a voicemail while I was there. Didn’t really expect a phone call right away, but a call at some point would have been nice. Wouldn’t be writing this review right now, if I had gotten a call back. Definitely a lot of money for what we were able to do. We had gone to Huron Turkey Farm earlier in the day. I know there isn’t a corn maze there or a slide but my Grandkids said they enjoyed going there more. So note to self a much simpler and cheaper attraction may be the better place to visit. Will not be going to Kackleberry’s anymore, felt more homie with previous owners.(Amazing people) Now it feels like a carnival atmosphere with...
