Cherry Avenue Auction — Attraction in Fresno

I typically enjoy swap meets and finding GREAT deals on things, but yesterday (Tuesday, May 2, 2017) at the Fresno Cherry Auction I was pretty horrified. I was there with a few friends and while waiting for our other friends to meet us there, we began looking around. We came upon the animal area and it was BAD.. it was upwards of 90 degrees for the first time this year yesterday, and it was hard for even us to adjust to. There were full grown bunnies overcrowded into hamster cages to the point that they couldn't even stretch out (we watched one of them try to, couldn't.). NO water.. All, and I mean ALL of the cages were waterless. There were water dishes in cages but bone dry, and some were buried under the animals because, mind you, there already wasn't room in there. We thought some mice were dead, just very dehydrated and little sweaty balls of fur all frantic and hot. It was horrible guys. Like so horrible. My friends and I took out OUR water bottles and began to fill the water dishes we could. It really seemed as though these people just mass breed and cram these animals out there for the money.. Those conditions were soooooo careless, it ruined my...

I can’t believe what the city council man did here ruined this place but he is a very, very, very, very good flea market. There’s no Auction here just lots and lots of good deals and the best Chinese food you can ever eat in your life. The guy gives you like a pound of food for your ordermaybe more you gotta check this place out. Plenty of parking. Nice people nice environment. I’m not trying to sell them I’m just telling the truth. There’s a lot of shade here at this place other Swap Meet doesn’t have shade OK and they don’t care about you. These people care about their customers. They have an attendant at the restrooms and make sure they’re clean and everything is functional good and the place is really good. I recommend this place highly OK I give her 20 stars if I could God bless. I was just there for their Car Show. It was really really good. I highly recommend To Go to the next one they have or if you got a old car, you want to sell take it out there. I guarantee you’ll sell...

So...The Cherry Auction has a long history and has been around for at least 40+ years if not more. Originally a live stock auction house, its grown and expanded to what you see now. There is a good mixture of new and used items and you can pretty much find anything here. Even get a good massage if you need it. The grounds and restrooms are always clean, in fact the whole place is well kept. There is plenty of parking and they even have cars for sale on the weekends. I might add they have great seasonal produce here. Honestly there is to much here to mention it all. Its a great getaway plenty of places to eat and just make a day of it. I've been coming here all my life and will continue to do so. Special note: In this time of Covid 19 and social distancing i was pleased to hear regular announcements over their PA system to practice social distancing and keep masks on. All in all i give it a 👍👍👍👍👍 i highly recommend...
