I usually go to the park 3 to 4 times a week. I ride my bicycle around the park twice a week, and I hike over to the park once or twice a week, given that I live within walking distance. The park is well kept, trash is picked up routinely, the grounds and walking trails have their leaves blown regularly, and the grass areas are mowed. I really appreciate the effort to keep the park beautiful! Things I noticed over the last year are more related to visitors and include concerns over speeding in the 10 mph zone, and some park goers allowing their children to climb over or under the fenced areas on the river. The erosion of the area continues to take its toll on the river bank area. In order to help preserve this beautiful park, everyone should respect the boundaries of the paths so we can continue to enjoy its beauty! It would be nice if there was a pedestrian walking path either side of SR 13, so that the local folks could safely get to the park with having to drive.
