Alpine Groves Park playground is a hidden gem nestled amidst a canopy of trees, offering a serene escape for families seeking outdoor fun and relaxation. The dedicated parking lot, conveniently located under the shade of trees, sets the tone for a pleasant visit from the outset. As you stroll along the sidewalk towards the playground, you'll find yourself immersed in nature's tranquility, setting the stage for a delightful adventure.

Upon arrival, the playground's charm becomes immediately apparent, with restroom facilities and multiple play areas catering to children of different age groups. The inclusion of a tire swing, saddle swings, and infant swings ensures that every child can find something to enjoy. The covered shelter with picnic tables provides a welcoming spot for families to gather and share a meal amidst the cool shade of the trees.

The playground itself, adorned with wood mulch and surrounded by teeter-totters and sea saws, invites children to let their imaginations soar as they explore and play. Additionally, the learning trail with interactive games adds an educational element to the experience, making it both fun and enriching for young minds.

Beyond the playground, the park offers even more to discover, including a nature trail leading to the Alpine Orange packing barn and eventually to the tranquil waters of the St. Johns River. The paved nature trail ensures accessibility for all visitors, allowing everyone to explore and enjoy the park's natural beauty.

Whether you choose to spend your day near the playground or venture further along the nature trail, Alpine Groves Park promises a memorable experience for the whole family. With its picturesque setting, array of amenities, and opportunities for adventure, it's no wonder this park is a favorite among locals and...

I usually go to the park 3 to 4 times a week. I ride my bicycle around the park twice a week, and I hike over to the park once or twice a week, given that I live within walking distance. The park is well kept, trash is picked up routinely, the grounds and walking trails have their leaves blown regularly, and the grass areas are mowed. I really appreciate the effort to keep the park beautiful! Things I noticed over the last year are more related to visitors and include concerns over speeding in the 10 mph zone, and some park goers allowing their children to climb over or under the fenced areas on the river. The erosion of the area continues to take its toll on the river bank area. In order to help preserve this beautiful park, everyone should respect the boundaries of the paths so we can continue to enjoy its beauty! It would be nice if there was a pedestrian walking path either side of SR 13, so that the local folks could safely get to the park with having to drive. The park has a beautiful playground, and the trails are perfect for hiking, bird watching,...

Alpine Groves Park is a hidden gem in Fruit Cove, Florida. It is a small park with a lot to offer, including a beautiful riverfront, a historic home, a butterfly garden, and a playground.

The riverfront is my favorite part of the park. There is a long pier that extends out over the water, and you can often see dolphins swimming by. There are also several benches along the river where you can relax and enjoy the scenery.

The historic home is also worth a visit. It was built in the early 1900s, and it is now used for community events. The butterfly garden is small, but it is home to a variety of butterflies.

The playground is a great place for kids to play. It has a variety of equipment, including swings, slides, and a climbing structure.

Overall, Alpine Groves Park is a great place to visit for a relaxing afternoon. It is a peaceful and scenic park with something to...
