I was in town for two weeks. We kept coming back to this place because it was so amazing. We came almost everyday at different times and took different trails and we still never felt like we saw it all. You have to visit! In some ways, I loved it more than the National Monument. There is parking. It is free. We did not see any wildlife but I am sure they are here. The mornings are super busy but later in the day, it's pretty dead. You can roam all over this place but beware there are signs to help guide you and keep you off the crust. So, don't go too crazy and be irresponsible to the environment they are trying...

This is a great place to go hike and see geology at its best. There are a few signs explaining the geology. The trail is dirt so be aware of wet weather. The place is beautiful. The rock formations are dynamic and beautiful! This is a must do place! You can bring you dog. But do the right thing and pick up after the dog and CARRY IT BACK OUT! To many people leave the bag for others to pick up. Please pick up an d take out. ...

These trails provide some pretty spectacular views of the canyons! They have varying levels of difficulty so you can find one to match your fitness level. This is a great trail system, multiple choices from easy to more difficult. I stayed on the main trail that goes into the canyon. The views are simply amazing and again I felt very far away even though the city is close by. Just remember the altitude and the fact that there is little shade so best to do this hike early in the morning.

I love to take my kids on new adventures and new hiking spots. Devil's canyon was a great place for a nice beginner hike or mid hiking person to enjoy by themselves or with family.I really do enjoy going out there and seeing the scenery and just being able to walk with my family and enjoy their time in Nature.
