Easily accessible, the trails are wide and it's not that far away from houses at certain points in the trail but you definitely get that surrounded in nature feel from this trail. It's got enough incline to be challenging but not grueling and the only downside would be that on weekends especially you have to watch out for trail bikers they are everywhere and they don't always announce when they are passing you. So definitely don't hike this trail with both earbuds in listening to music because you want to be aware of your surroundings. Other than that, great sunset views, on clear days I've been able to see all the way to Catalina and the trail is...

I enjoyed hiking this trail with my parents over the weekend. They can’t really be on trails that have big declines and inclines so this one was perfect. For the most part, it consists of flat terrain with small inclines here and there but it is quite easy overall. We enjoyed taking our time walking around and observing the vegetation and scenery. There are plenty of shades and hills, so it's a great place for hiking and biking. πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸš΅β€β™‚οΈ A walk east along Castlewood Dr leads to the Nora Kuttner Recreational Trail. Follow the Castlewood Trail and it ends next to the Rosecrans Ave fire station. Rosecrans Trail east to connect Parks Rd Trail. To the west is Ralph B Clark Park....and.... Local trail, peaceful, well maintained, beginner/intermediate, some steep hills. Watch for bikes, considerate riders. Overall I enjoyed my hike😁
