Down Euclid, roughly halfway between Malvern and Bastanchury, is a sign for Hiltscher Trail. There's a very small dirt lot that holds about 8 - 10 vehicles.
While the park starts at Euclid, Hiltscher Trail starts across Euclid over on Valley View. It ends at the Juanita Cook Trail, right next to a water fountain with a well-placed dog bowl for thirsty pups. The entire Hiltscher Trail is 1.39 miles of well kept, relatively smooth dirt path and is great for running, walking, biking, strollers, or horseback. The tree canopy makes it a solid choice for a summer run. I saw a family doing a professional photo shoot, too.

City noise is drowned out a bit and you feel like you are not surrounded by a concrete...
Read moreLove this trail. It's nice and shady from all the trees and quiet from the loud street noise. The only thing that you must stay alert on are the bike riders that come riding the trail you're walking on very quickly you have to move to the side to let them pass by. There were a couple bees nests close to the walking trail as well so be cautious of them flying around or buzzing around on the ground. The trees here are beautiful and hang in a way that makes the trail have shaded spots which is...
