Fleming Loop Recreational Park — Attraction in Fuquay-Varina

Took my 2.5 year old here for the first time on a Saturday morning. There seemed to be plenty of parking despite there being activities happening on multiple fields.

Equipment in the playground area was well maintained and there were a lot of interesting structures to explore for kids of a variety of ages. There was also a paved walking path that loops the park where we saw plenty of friendly dogs.

Great open space! There is a mile long paved track around the outside of the park that is great for running, walking, skating, biking, etc... The game fields have come in very nice and the grass is in good shape. The playground is large enough for bigger kids but also has sections that are safe for toddlers and such. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the lack of shade in some areas. Would...

It is a nice playground, however, the parking lot does get very busy because it is shared with some of the town's athletic programs. The only thing I wish could be added is some bleachers for the days when we forget to bring a chair.

Update: The parking situation is still pretty bad as the town continues to see rapid growth. The need for more athletic fields and sports facilities is definitely...
