I could not recommend this place more. I knew it was going to be a good time from all the reviews but it truly exceeded my expectations. The trail was SCARY! And done so well!! The crazy backroads bus ride was enough to give any city folk like us a heart attack! But what I really came here to rave about, is the staff! From the ticket booth to the guy who helped direct our car out when we left every single person was kind and helpful when they weren’t being scary!!! When one of my daughters was too scared to do something the woman taking the tickets offered to keep her and have her help her while I went inside, although I didn’t take her up on the offer , how sweet is that? Then when we were walking out of the line even the monsters stopped to make sure everything was okay. That was what I liked most about this place. My daughters are young, but total horror fans and we’ve been to places that terrorize them when it’s clear they’ve had enough. This places main priority was making sure everyone was getting their scares worth, but also comfortable and having fun! A monster then waited with us bc it was dark and made sure the girls weren’t further scared in any way until the rest of our party came out. We’ll definitely be back and I’m already recommending to everyone!
Just some information that I wish I had before going • regardless of if you purchase tickets online or in person you have to go to the main ticket like. You have to sign a waiver ( you’re going in a bus on an actual road and running around a trail so it’s understandable ) • my only criticism of the entire place which was absolutely not their fault at all was that some people didn’t listen and started double parking people in! The staff was on it helping people get out but keep that in mind when you park. •the ticket includes the party bus from hell! Lol the hayride up to the attractions and all 3 attractions! Which is a haunted trail, dollhouse, and clown house if you have smaller kids who tend to get scared I’d say it would be fine to go but get the medallion and skip the trail ( which is the first attraction) as there are times you have to go single file and carrying etc won’t be an option. Plus it’s SCARY! Happy...

(No photography/videography allowed)
Booger Jim’s Hollow was a major step up from last year with stronger scares, new interactive scenes, and an atmosphere that fully embraced its backwoods setting. This haunt mixed old school charm with terrifying moments that kept our team on edge. Just a heads up, you may get wet.
Cast/Actors: 10/10 The actors were outstanding. Every one stayed in character, got up close, and interacted with us. Timing was sharp and energy never slipped. Every step felt like facing our darkest nightmares.
Costumes: 8/10 Some costumes leaned simple or funny, but many were frightening and fit the setting perfectly. The scarier looks added detail and made us feel trapped in the creepiest corner of South Carolina.
Customer Service/Organization: 9/10 Staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to talk with us. Organization was much improved with actors guiding us through most areas. A lack of signage in some dark spots added suspense but could confuse visitors.
Decorations/Sets: 8/10 Sets matched their themes with plenty of detail. Some areas could use more props, but the new interactive rooms elevated the experience.
Entertainment: 5/10 Entertainment was limited outside the haunt. Aside from the bus ride and actor interactions, there was not much else to do, but the stripped-down feel let us socialize without distractions.
Scare Score: 9/10 The scares were the biggest improvement. Timing was sharp, actors often ganged up on us, and we jumped multiple times. Some spots were weaker, but overall it delivered plenty of fear.
Walk-through Time: About 1 hour and 15 minutes
Overall: 8.5/10 Booger Jim’s Hollow is a must visit for fans who want something dark, interactive, and unique. Its isolated location, pitch black paths, and no signal atmosphere make it feel like a cabin in the woods horror story...
Read morefirstly, the prices are ridiculous for the quality of the trail and wait time.
Tickets are $28 and it's $10 extra for the "fast pass" That's $38 which is almost the equivalent to a Carowinds theme park ticket. So obviously me and my friends just chose to pay for the regular tickets instead of paying $10 more for "fast passes" I was told we would be touched by scare actors unless we paid $5 for glow stick necklaces, so I purchased 3 for the friends in the group that didn't want to be touched. Throughout the entire night none of us were touched (including myself we had a group of 6) So why did I pay $15 extra dollars for 3 people to not be touched when none of us were even touched at all??
Secondly, staff was not very helpful and we had to find our own way to figure out how to get to the next trail, house, or attraction. We arrived at 8:30 and waited in line for one house for AN HOUR AND A HALF. We left around 12:30am with 2 haunted houses left, but we were so tired of the wait and how cold is was outside so we just left.
Lastly, it was not scary and almost every scare actor I was around broke character (which isn't that big of a deal but genuinely takes away from the experience and makes it way less scary)
Wouldn't recommend to anyone unless they're willing to spend almost $40 to not be scared, and to have to wait hours in lines with rude staff.
If you do not have enough employees to make wait times less or make the experience more enjoyable for costumers don't open 🤷🏼♀️
It is a scam to ask people to pay $28 for a ticket and then $10 on top of that just so they don't have to wait an hour and a half waiting in line.
Worst haunted house...
