We recently went to Jiffy Lube for the first time, and it was a mixed experience for us. We were sitting in section 205 and had a great view of the stage. The concert itself was fantastic—the acoustics sounded good and we could see the band very well. But, I think there is a lot of room for improvement at Jiffy Lube. It was hard to see the signs of each section or for us to navigate the venue, but at least the map gave us a general idea of where our section was. That was only a minor inconvenience compared to the parking situation which is NOT GOOD. You’ll get a parking spot, but it can take ages to get in and out of the venue. I don’t know if VIP parking worked any differently than general admission parking, but here is our experience with general admission parking:
MAKE SURE YOU GET THERE EARLY. Like 2 hours early. If we had known there would be so much traffic waiting to get into the venue, we would have left at least an hour earlier, so that was our bad for not checking their Facebook page for this concert (it was sold out so they anticipated a lot of traffic, and put their recommendations on when to come). We left about an hour after doors opened because we didn’t want to see the earlier acts, and that was a big mistake. There is only one main road that leads into the venue and all the lanes funnel into one, so you get a lot of cars cutting in front of other cars and you’re sitting in a line that moves VERY slowly. There weren’t any police helping to direct the huge line of traffic at the lights either, which did not help.
Once you get there, they lead your car to park in a giant lot for general admission parking. It was nice to know we had a spot, but what wasn’t great is that the lot is a good walking distance from the actual venue (about 15 mins) so be prepared to walk a lot to get there, and take note of what zone your car is in!! We saw lots of people not able to find their cars afterwards because of how big the lot is.
We also tried to leave early to avoid the huge amount of cars leaving, but somehow we still got screwed leaving. Our line sat completely still for 40 minutes and it took us another 20 minutes just to get out. It may have been because we were all the way at the back of the lot, and maybe they let those parked at the VIP section and the front of the lot out first. You would think at such a large venue, they would have more than one exit though! Maybe it’s due to poor design, or maybe they just needed more employees and police directing the traffic. It just felt like there were no real rules as to where to form a line, and people were getting frustrated with letting others into the lines. It would have also been safer to have more people directing cars, as it was late at night and so many people had also been drinking so we were nervous about drunk drivers.
Overall, I’m glad we had a good time at the actual concert, but we are hesitant to go back for any future events because of our experience getting in and out. I’d say if there is a band you really want to see there, just be prepared to get there super early to increase your chances of getting in and out of the lot faster! AND I would pay for...
Read moreJiffy Lube Live Concert Venue Review: A Premier Experience for Music Lovers
Attending a concert at Jiffy Lube Live is an experience that any music enthusiast should have on their bucket list. Our visit was nothing short of spectacular, from the moment we arrived until the final note of Chris Stapleton's incredible performance.
We decided to arrive early, a strategy that I highly recommend to anyone planning to attend an event here. The premier parking option is absolutely worth the investment. Not only is it conveniently located close to the venue, but it also offers shaded areas with grass, perfect for pre-event tailgating. The atmosphere in the parking area was vibrant and full of anticipation, with fellow concert-goers enjoying picnics, games, and good company.
In addition to premier parking, we also opted for the Fastlane passes. This turned out to be another excellent decision. The passes allowed us to bypass the long lines and get to our seats early. This early entry also gave us the chance to grab drinks and food without having to battle the crowds, making the whole experience much more relaxed and enjoyable.
The venue itself is impressive. Jiffy Lube Live boasts a well-designed layout that ensures good views and acoustics from virtually any seat. The combination of lawn seating and covered pavilion offers options for different preferences, whether you enjoy lounging on a blanket under the stars or prefer the structured seating closer to the stage.
The lineup for the evening was outstanding. Chris Stapleton, the headliner, delivered a powerful and memorable performance that left the audience in awe. His soulful voice and commanding stage presence were a perfect end to the night. However, the openers were no less impressive. Marcus King brought a fantastic energy with his bluesy rock style, while Nikki Lane set the tone perfectly with her unique blend of country and rock.
One of the most notable aspects of our experience was the efficiency of the event staff. Every interaction we had with them was positive. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful, which greatly contributed to the overall enjoyment of the evening. Whether directing us to our seats, answering questions, or managing the flow of people, the staff did an excellent job ensuring everything ran smoothly.
Another significant advantage of the premier parking was the ease of exiting the venue. After the concert, we were able to leave the parking lot quickly and without the usual hassle that often accompanies large events. This convenience added a nice finishing touch to an already perfect night.
In summary, our experience at Jiffy Lube Live was exceptional. The combination of early arrival, premier parking, Fastlane passes, and a stellar lineup made for an unforgettable evening. The venue's excellent design, fantastic acoustics, and the friendly, efficient staff all contributed to making this a top-notch concert experience. Whether you’re a die-hard fan of the headliner or just love live music, Jiffy Lube Live offers an unparalleled experience that will leave you eager to...
Read moreGreat location for attending concerts with the outdoor/indoor atmosphere. We sat in the covered upper center section (303), although we noted that the first row on the lawn area was probably a better choice (weather considered, of course). View was good for the price (two large screens are adjacent to the stage area). Sound is very good. There is a decent amount of space in each row to get past seated attendees without their need to stand up. Food (burgers-no changes at all, hot dogs, pizza, tacos, sweets, etc.), beverages (alcohol and non-alcohol), merchandise, and restrooms were plenty INSIDE the "cashless" venue, but a single merchandise booth was outside the gate -- creating a long line of people. Outside the venue, there were also port-a-johns. However, only a single Dunkin truck, offering beverages, was outside where everyone waits to enter the gates. Arrived around 30 minutes after the general parking opened, and there was little delay to park, and it was well coordinated. Since we had no bags or other things, we got in the express line at the gate around an hour before they opened (were about 10th-15th from the front of the line). There is no covered area for lines (exposed to sun & precipitation), so be prepared with water in a disposable container; and snacks or food if you want to eat before going through gate. Security was easy (especially without "stuff"), efficient even for those carrying lots of things (bag, chair, water, etc.). The lawn had steps in about 4-5 locations, but each seemed like a good workout. Seated sections had ticket checkers at every entrance and checked everyone every time; make sure every person in your party has their ticket when leaving their seat. CONS: no food or drink for purchase outside the gate, don't arrive too hungry or thirsty; some people will stand for the entire event (including all opening acts) without regard for your view and unless you are very tall, your enjoyment may be impacted (persons needing assistance to stand, families with young children, or just want to sit for a while); ground is angled toward the stage (not level) which takes a toll on your feet (particularly with less than very comfy shoes) when standing for hours; departure from the general parking lot started of very disorganized due to impatient and rude drivers but the crew got us moving after about 20-30 minutes; all exiting traffic is efficiently, but only directed north...
