They also have a large play ground, covered picnic areas with grills, and access to the water for fishing and swimming. Dogs must remain on Leash and be cleaned up after. This location is part of the Kansas Ozarks. #Kansas #Ozarks

Even though I live in the area I had never been to the Nature Center. I was pleasantly surprised! I especially liked the arrow head collection. There were also live snakes. (Not a fan.) The girl working was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions about arrow heads, butterflies in the area, and others. I'm definitely going back!

My children and I have always loved going to visit the nature center, we decided to go and new they were about to close, but it doesn't take long to go through the women met us outside extremely rude!
