Bell Mare Weddings & Events — Attraction in Galien Township

Bell Mare was by far the venue of my dreams! I would give 1000000 stars if it was possible!

My husband and I attended an open house at Bell Mare in January of 2023. We changed our minds about an outdoor venue and were feeling lost and crunched for time to find a venue that was reasonably priced but also had availability that October. I found Bell Mare on instagram and quickly fell in love. Once we walked through the doors at the open house we knew this was meant to be.

The ladies at Bell Mare are absolutely phenomenal and made my wedding planning go so much smoother. They were truly our biggest supporters. If we didn’t know, we would have thought they had been doing this for 20 years at this venue. My husband and I decided to go with a Sunday Brunch wedding at Bell Mare. We loved the vibe and atmosphere of the venue and really did not have to get a lot of extra decor. Just a couple of pieces to make it our own.

Communication was absolutely seamless leading up to the big deal. We had multiple phone calls and emails to make sure we were all on the same page. The ladies always responded quickly and made sure to answer all my questions. We did a virtual walk though which helped A LOT and really reassured us that this was an absolute dream wedding for us.

We were able to drop our stuff off the Saturday before the wedding and make some last-minute decisions on what goes where. If this gives you any idea of how AMAZING these ladies are, we handed them our totes of decor and said “We trust you guys and can do whatever you want with the decor!” Oh boy did we make the right decision! They get things up so perfectly and did things we didn’t even think of! The morning of my wedding, I just had to show up! It was stress-free while the ladies at Bell Mare transformed the venue into a magical, stunning place. The day of coordination was truly a lifesaver. The whole night was effortless on our part and our guests couldn't stop gushing over the beauty of the venue. We had family members question why we were getting married in a small, random town on the west side, but once they saw the gorgeous venue, they quickly understood why. We got compliments all night and truly cannot wait for more of our pictures back.

We cannot recommend Bell Mare enough. The venue is truly so beautiful. Even the vendors that Bell Mare recommended were so wonderful! Alissa, Ashlie, and Aimee we are so over the moon grateful for you. Thank you for making this the wedding...

An absolutely dream venue for our dream wedding.

It all started with setting up our walkthrough back at the end of 2022. The owners were wonderful to work with and clearly passionate about their space and the work they had put into the venue. They seemed just as excited as we were when we talked through securing our wedding date for September 2023!

Over the next year, communication on next steps and all the questions I had were well communicated with quick responses. My husband I felt extremely at ease that our dreams and ideas would be executed perfectly on the day of our wedding and they absolutely were.

The best part of The Bell Mare, besides the absolutely wonderful owners, is that the venue itself is already stunning. Our decor was minimal because the space is breathtaking.

The work they did to set up our dream wedding behind the scenes was a huge breath of fresh air on our wedding day. We spent the morning hiking, getting cleaned up, and spending it with family while the Bell Mare set up everything. We walked in to find the wedding of our dreams!

The whole night was effortless on our parts and our guests couldn't stop gushing over the beauty of the venue.

My wife and I had a beautiful wedding at Bell Mare thanks to the wonderful owners. The space itself was perfect for our needs and the location was very accessible to my family from Illinois and the wife’s family in Michigan. Close to Buchanan, Niles, New Buffalo, and South Bend, while not too far away from Grand Rapids, we were able to pull together a wonderful team of vendors from all over the area. The upstairs/downstairs layout was great for our guests. Ashlie did a wonderful job coordinating with our vendors to make sure everything went off without a hiccough and without stressing the bride and groom. All through the process the team was responsive and helpful. It was easy to trust them to take care of us and we knew our big day was in great and caring hands. The venue was also a great value.
