I would give 0 if I could. First, if your child doesn't have basket ball experience. They are going only play your child one time in every game. My child has previous experience in basket ball but her self esteem and confidence went down hill when she notice they don't play her. So I went to the higher ups to ask her to be played more. Possibly work with her more in her practices. You know rise her confidence. Another child on the teams has 0 experience and never attended practice according to my daughter but played her every quarter. How is this right? I finally took my daughter out during the second game once I was told it's fine to treat them like that. Those are the rules Really. That's it? Because she was never treated like that before in her previous years of basket ball in a different county. How rude. My daughter told me she didn't want to play basket ball anymore because of the experience she was given and the way she was treated. Coaches also invited the team out for lunch but my daughter was never invited. Like that's ok? How do you get experience if you are literally at every practice but not put in the games? How is it ok to play other kids who don't have any experience as well same age. Says in the rules that the younger players have to have more time in the games well that was my daughter and she still was treated differently. When I had asked for refund as if my daughter isn't gonna be played I should be able to get the money back. They acted like I was some horrible person standing up for my daughter so they asked me to leave. I'm told i can either get off the property the easy way or hard way. Seriously? I had the guts to tell the coaches that they are wrong for the way my daughter was treated. Worst experience ever for this place. My daughter is upset at how she was treated and thanked me for standing up for her. She's switched the soft ball and I'm so glad the coaches there are at least better. I watched other coaches play each team member equally. It's just about winning to some more the others. I also watched other workers go to the higher up basket ball coach and talked about me behind my back. I can read lips seriously. I have went to her once before. The first time they agreed with me that the kids should be allowed to play equally second time taking to them and it's like it's my fault for standing up for my child.
One lady should be fired for the way she treated me told me I needed to get off the property because she thought she could control me because I asked for a reimbursement.
So I'm the bad guy and can't be on the property for standing up for my daughter. Coaches are allowed to treat teams members this way ? Last time I check it wasn't ok. How in the heck am I forced to stay off the property just because I asked to be payed back and stood up for my daughter with how she was treated.
Do better gallatin civic center. You completely discriminated my child and treated her poorly and I wouldn't allow it.
It's pretty sad how my child was treated as she wanted to join more sports. What now we have to find a better place ? From what I'm seeing there's quite a bit of bad reviews for this place. Looks like I'm definitely not the only one whose child/person was treated poorly. People are gonna Start coming less if this keeps happening.
How rude, I am so behind upset. It wasn't the one blonde ladies fault. I hope she knows that. She did the best she could, she printed out the rules when I asked to see them. I feel like she thought I was upset at her but it wasn't her fault. I did swear once saying it was BS how my child was treated. I couldn't hold back. I'm looking out for my child and how they treated her. But She's just doing her job. But for the high basket ball coach & that lady who tried to control me the way she did. WOW you guys need to have more fair rules for these poor kids and the woman in the front...
Read moreExpensive for a local. Free weight rooms makes it nut-to-butt if there's more than 3 people in there at a time. People are rude. Waited 10 minutes for a guy to get off a machine, so I went and did more cardio, came back he was off, so I proceeded to use it, he came back in the room and told me to get off so he could finish his set, while I literally was mid lift. So the people in there really screw up your schedule if you are on one. Which I was. Go back into the "cardio room", and one of the gentlemen that works there was on the treadmill a few down from me and would NOT STOP CLAPPING AND SINGING OUT LOUD, talk about a distraction, he was a nice guy I guess bc whenever I looked over at him bc I thought I was at a prince concert, he would wink and smile at me, which was really uncomfortable, and made me move, no matter how far I was I could still hear him, completely pissed me off. He was also a loud talker to the other gym goers, like LOUD. I heard all of his business. That was one day. I went in yesterday and some large bellied Mexican stared at me on the treadmill while he lifted his shirt up and rubbed his belly (like big circular slow strokes), it was almost mesmerizing and it made me laugh, I looked away, but about 7 more minutes into my run, I could feel eyes burning into me, I look over again, and he is still standing there, rubbing himself, while staring at me. Totally uncomfortable. "Why do you go there then?" You may ask....well, let me tell you. I don't go often, but when it is just too hot to run outside, I would like to be able to go to my local gym. I live out in the country, and this is the closest place at 7.2 miles for me to go. The hours suck, the rooms are extremely small and broken up, and typically the weights are all over the room (or atleast have been the three times I've been there), people are rude and socially awkward, it's pretty much the lowest man on the totem pole as far as gyms go. I was going to go today, but now after writing this I have lost my motivation, much like when I get there, my motivation gets sucked out of me by a Mexican rubbing himself while making eye contact😳. Wish they would clean it up and put the weights in a larger room and maybe filter out the weirdos, then it would be worth the $280 a year for a local to be...
Read moreMy mother-in-law is 76 years old and was told they would bring an umbrella canopy to her. We, the rest of the family, arrived shortly after she did at 10:00am. She was the 12th person at the gate opening. After sitting there for 45 minutes waiting for the umbrella, I decided to go ask. The girls in the ticket booth said, "All the umbrellas were broken, and they didn't have any available. Sorry about that!" So I went over next to the civic center side and decided to work on fixing one of the broken umbrellas. After about 15 minutes, repairing the umbrella to properly function again, helping another fellow to fix his, I took the one I fixed, to our section and placed it in the base already at our location. A very nice lifeguard lady helped me secure the umbrella pole into the base. After about 15 minutes of us finally enjoying a little shade for my mother-in-law, another girl walked up and said we couldn't have the umbrella because it was reserved. FIRST OFF, IT WAS BROKEN AND I HAD TO FIX IT! So, reserved or not, IT WAS BROKEN!!! What good is it reserved when it didn't operate anyway!!! LONG STORY SHORTENED UP, just plan on bringing your own umbrella, as we did with no issues! The last family member arriving stopped by her mother's home and picked up our own umbrella, which is allowed per management! As far as the unpleasant lady taking the umbrella that I fixed, that was broken, the manager just commented after us calling and complaining and replied, "Sorry about that." Really? That's how you treat guests that makes
