I had never heard of this place and I have lived in the area my whole life. But I googled fun christmas events for kids and Forever Forest popped up. Everyone was super friendly and Santa is BY FAR the BEST Santa I have EVER seen! It was so festive and Christmas music could be heard everywhere. I would definitely come back next year.
Now for the not so great. $5 for some Swiss Miss hot chocolate? The food truck had some food to eat but I would have thought they would have had Christmas Cookies, or some other festive treats, and $20 for a S'Mores package? In the tent where you do arts and crafts they also have a big area to play with a ton of toys, almost every toy did not work at all and for $20 we can play with toys at home for free. You could better utilize that space for something else that we can't do at home. My Granddaughter wanted her faced painted as a cat and when it was done (she is 4) she looked more confused then happy because it looked nothing like a cat at all and whatever they used had the consistency of lipstick and came right off as soon as she went on the bounce house. Speaking of the bounce house there should be a light inside of there because the light that is shone on it doesn't do anything. At the end we went back to the arts and crafts tent to pick up our ornaments we made because we were letting them dry well the glitter stuff they gave us didn't dry at all and our ornaments got totally messed up. Also all of these teens that worked there were in there hanging out since it was the end and they were getting a little rowdy and I heard a few curse words thrown around and mind I have a 4 year old "sponge" with me. Lastly, there should be more attractions on the hayride route besides blow ups my neighbors have in their yard and maybe have someone drive the tractor or someone with them who could be fun and jovial and make it a fun, festive ride and that could be done instead of spending on more blow up or light up attractions.
Please don't take my critiques as complaints because even if NONE of those things were done I would STILL go here for the fun staff alone. I also wanted to maybe give some ideas because I would like to make this a family tradition for many years to come. Thank you for a fun time and I can't wait to come for the...
Read moreThe website really sells a dream of endless enjoyable Christmas fun for kids and families to enjoy. Insane how bamboozled & falsely advertised this place was!! I’ve never ever experienced such a sham. We spent $80 & over an hour car ride to take our children to a promised “Christmas Adventure”, all for nothing. The website lists all these amazing activities but it just simply does not add up to the let down that you receive once you get there. For starters, you arrive to a little half-decorated farm to find that all of the activities for the kids are basically in a little barn with a couples tables set up with dollar store crafts for kids. The “hayride with Santa” was a tractor that takes you in a little mud circle sans Santa. The “ice skating” was the BIGGEST let down...it was a small square space (maybe 5’5) with plastic tiles (no ice) and the kids were told to put these blue shower cap like things on their boots (no skates), so they can “slide” around. The kids were literally running around in a little circle. It was just such a disappointment. I never do these reviews, but goodness, if I could save atleast one person from wasting their time and money, then atleast I will have got that out of this. With all that being said, I am grateful to have wonderful children that make the best of ANY...
Read moreThis place sounded great but was not enjoyable at all. We paid 120.00 for 4 people and were terribly disappointed except for the magic show. That was the only thing that was good but still not worth 30 dollars a person good. My 5 year old was handed a little key ring upon entry and they told my son to hand it to Santa and Santa will give him something special. I thought that was a really nice touch. When my son finally saw Santa and gave it to him, Santa just looked at it and said how nice it was and told my son to hang it on the tree. What was the point of getting my son all excited? If they are going to tell kids that then at least hand out a candy cane or something... There is a barn set up for face painting and and arts and crafts and other misc stations. We went in and it was empty. Nobody anywhere to be found. We roamed around and left. There are snow globes shown in the picture where you can walk in and play with the balls. I went in and it started collapsing on me. Apparently there was some leak and the door was all taped up and when I opened the door the blower couldn’t handle it. I would imagine that it probably violates some safety code somewhere... Personally I don’t feel that it’s worth 5.00 dollars and 30 is just plain robbery. Save your money and go to the...
