My daughter and I called on a weekday morning and spoke with Ralph the owner who scheduled us for the time we preferred which was noon (one other Dad there with 2 kids). We arrived to find a spotless, well organized, beautiful Alpaca farm! The herd is about 20 strong, all healthy and sweet animals. Ralph gives you all the information you could want to know about Alpacas, takes you into their large paddock, gives you big handfuls of pellets and shows you how to feed and get close to them for petting. By nature they are gentle and calm, they have only bottom incisors and will not bite your hand. We stayed for just over an hour and it was fantastic. Ralph doesn't charge a fee for the experience, but he does accept donations for the care and upkeep of the Alpacas. I highly recommend for all ages. Wear a pair of sneakers. This place is a gem! We will be back to visit this sweet herd again and spend some more time with Ralph! Next time I'll buy some of the Alpaca fleece goods for sale in the sweet little gift shop they have...

Their passion for the alpacas was evident in every interaction, and they went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was both enjoyable and informative.
The alpacas are incredibly well-cared-for, and it's clear that the owners genuinely love what they do. They were patient and accommodating, allowing us to take our time with the alpacas and ensuring we had plenty of opportunities to interact with these gentle creatures.
The gift shop is also a must-visit, offering a variety of high-quality alpaca products, from cozy scarves to luxurious blankets, all made from alpaca wool.

Read moreI love animals. I enjoy photographing nature and especially animals. I was ecstatic to find out this place was less than five miles from my home. I called the number the day before to see if they were going to be open on Monday morning. Ralph, the owner returned my call. I went with my friend and he had to go out to run some errands do we waited. So many alpacas to watch! When he returned, he let us go meet them all, feed them. It was wonderful. Such beautiful, sweet animals. They are so well cared for and loved. I took pictures for at least an hour of alpaca portraits. The last four pictures are just a few. Great guy, great farm, stop by if you love alpacas and want to learn...
