The pier was nothing special. A lot of bird poop on it. You have to pay a fee to get into the state park and then this guy wants you to pay to use the pier. You can fish off the pier, there isnt a sandy beach ... only rocks along the coastline. There are a number of boats and ships constantly on the move. I gave it 4-stars bc the guy wants you to pay to walk the pier that is located on state property.

Honest opinion…. Mehh! You have to pay for parking, pay for each person that wants to fish, pay for the ships if you want to see them. It’s crowded, hot during the summer, NO shaded areas and there is no way to cool down…. If it had a splash pad or even a water fountain it might be ok for an hour or two but over rated in my opinion. I did enjoy watching the dolphins 🐬 from the pier.

It was nice,it needs some more lights or at least to fix the ones damaged. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Bathrooms have AC. And there was a nice sunset.

Honest opinion…. Mehh! You have to pay for parking, pay for each person that wants to fish, pay for the ships if you want to see them. It’s crowded, hot during the summer, NO shaded areas and there is no way to cool down…. If it had a splash pad or even a water fountain it might be ok for an hour or two but over rated in my opinion.
