Galveston Welcome Tower — Attraction in Galveston

Beautiful concept. AND SUPER AWESOME WATCHING THEM GET PAINTED. Salt air is harsh and these definitely could stand a rejuvenation but its got character. I would Not sapy its a a tourist attraction as you cannot park and take pics with it...Unless you stop on the side of the freeway and take your chances. So snap a picture as you come in or again on your way home. The cool thing is a local designed and painted these murals, pretty talented dude in my book. Note to tourists: we appreciate you visiting and seeing all Galveston has to offer. Eat, drink, shop...

Galveston welcome Tower is a great landmark to check out if you’re visiting the beautiful and historic city of Galveston. It’s a nice spot to take some memorable photos and enjoy a different view of the area.

Although the entrance road isn’t in the best condition, I was still able to drive my Nissan through without any trouble. If you’re unsure, check out the video I uploaded in this review it gives you a good idea of what to expect.
