West Beach — Attraction in Galveston

First time on a Texas beach and it was pretty nice. Its a secluded area with no cars allowed on the easternmost stretch from where this is pinned up to where it shows Beach Access #10 east of Hershey Beach Drive. Mostly private residents/renters on this beach cause of how far public has to walk to get to this section. Good area for a rental in one of the communities with 1 or 2 rows deep of houses, unlike the trashy areas where houses are crammed together one behind the other. Dogs good on this section of beach off leash too (if they take commands well). Heard of how brown and dirty Texas beaches are, but this one is rather nice. Wonder if its more because of the time of year (autumn) as opposed to middle of summer with kelp washed...
