Dunn State Park

Jean and I have driven by Dunn State Park hundreds of times and we finally decided to stop and visit to see what was there. The park is manicured and very clean with waste barrels scattered everywhere, so there's no excuse to leave trash on the ground or tables. The number of picnic tables are scattered and there are well over 30 which during the summer season are pretty much used. Charcoal BBQs are plentiful so bring briquettes, fluid and a handful of Hotdogs. We decided to walk the long trail and glad we did. The trail circles the swimming lake (No swimming available off season), with exercise stations along the walk. The health stops range from youngster to adult challenge and are fun to try. Our walk ended at the parking lot where we stayed and drove home. A big thumbs up for Dunn PARK. P.S. during the regular season, there is an admission charge.
