I really enjoy this park. I take my little dogs here all the time. The dog park area has two fenced-in yards for pups, separated by dog size. There is plenty of space for them to get alll their energy out and explore. A couple times people brought their large dog in the small dog side because they thought the rules didn’t apply to them, so you may have to deal with this if you bring your little dog.

There is a paved walking path around the perimeter of the park, and gives you a nice route to speed walk past the kids playground.

The trails here go to the lake & are clearly marked. You walk through a wooded path that exposes the water a short distance in. Heads up, they are super steep so those with mobility issues may want to skip them.

Overall, this park has a lot of options for activities and if you live nearby you should make it one of...

We love this park for our family to come play. It is one of the only parks in Traverse City where from the main pavilion you can see from the road to the trees so the visibility to watch children safely is great! The fields are maintained very well. There is a huge walking/biking train around the entire park which is very wide. It has 3 very large pavilions with picnic tables and benches located throughout the park. There is a toddler/young child play structure as well as a full sized play structure and swings. They have a large dog park that is fenced in, basketball courts, a football field with goal posts, baseball diamond and several open areas great for various play activities and soccer. Overall one of our favorite parks in...

Dog poop everywhere! I visited this park for the first time on Mar 24th. Nice little park and a great place to get out for few quick laps on the paved trail or to enjoy a little walk in the woods. But I was thoroughly disgusted by the dog feces and the discarded poop bags blowing from the branches of the trees! The park provides waste bags and plenty of trash cans in which to dispose of said waste. Clean up after your canines people! I don't bring the contents of my cat's litter box and dump them where others are trying to...

The park is big, offers football and softball fields, tennis courts as well as other open fields. There's a dog park with separate areas for large and small dogs. There's a playground on the hill with separate equipment for large and small children. It has a paved walking path around the perimeter and a dirt trail that goes down along the lake. Great anytime of year but especially beautiful in the fall due to the changing leaves.

Disc Golf Course: To start I gave it a 3 because i didnt lose a disc. The course was maintained poorly but paths to the baskets were mowed. If youre looking for a course that no people are at and you can make your own rules then this is the course for you. The baskets were trash also but still did the job. What basket you throw at makes no sense but it was still a good time.
