Lake Murvaul — Attraction in Gary City

Some of the best times of my life were spent at this Lake. I went as a small child all the way through adulthood, I will go back when I can, as often as I can. I will get some pictures next time. I regret not having any pictures from when my children would swim with me. They are grown and they would swim with me if they could one lives 200+/+ miles away the other one...

This place is peaceful and nice for a family reunion but seems every year someone gets a cut on their foot or hand from debris in the lake and the flies are horrible, trashcans were kinda non existent this year near the cabins, some with lids would be great to keep people from leaving bags of trash...

Need to get their act together here! Store is open one week closed down the next. like is full of giant Sylvania and the closing down boat ramps all around except for the main Marina. Don't go expecting to get bait once your there because the store will probably be...
