In August 2023, we took a road trip through the Great Smoky Mountains, and this particular spot was one of the highlights. We arrived in the late morning, just before noon, and were pleasantly surprised to find it peaceful and uncrowded. The kids played in the cool, refreshing water while we soaked in the serenity around us.
