Grand Ravines Lodge — Attraction in Georgetown Charter Township

We were married there in September. It was a perfect spot for a wedding. We were married under the covered bridge and held our reception in the lodge. It was perfect and simple. The lodge had lots of modern updates and I was contacted several times to see how we wanted the room set up and if I had any questions. It only holds about 70ish people on the inside and about 25ish people on the outside deck. We had about 100 people. It has a very cabin rustic look so I did not have to do a lot decorating....

Love it here. Such good walk on the trails. It can get confusing in some spots of the trails but it will lead you on some pretty neat adventures. Including us running into the goffer which seemed to be stuck up in a tree. We went back through that same area and seen he was hanging by his neck. So my husband out another large branch there to help him get down. It's really great walk for kids to do as well. Just choose your trail first ahead. Some of the trails are very steep....

What a beautiful venue for a small wedding. Just a couple of suggestions: the overhang roof off the deck is too low and a few guests banged their head really bad as they used the stepping stones to come back onto the deck. A sound system installed with indoor and outdoor speakers would be very helpful. It offers an absolutely beautiful vista and the wedding I attended fit nicely on the deck and inside the lodge. Lovely spot....
