Pretty nice park to spend the afternoon with the family, or go on a relaxing date.

The park's primary attraction is a nice wooden playground that has enough features to satisfy most kids up until they're early teens. It may possibly be entertaining for parkour enthusiasts.

Right beside the playground is a field that's designed to look like a map of the United States, even including little hills that represent the mountainous regions of the U.S.

The park features a trail system with a few miles of walkable trail. Great for birdwatching, with a stream running through multiple parts of the trail from early on.

A nice game to play is impromptu frisbee golf using different cut down tree stumps! It helped keep our group of four, with two boys (agreed 10 and 13), entertained throughout the trail system.

Even spotted a couple of great spots for grad pictures and couple photoshoots (if you have a...

What a wonderful park. We enjoyed hiking the many trails, seeing the children enjoying the huge play structure, and walking around the topographic map of the USA (so interesting and cool). In addition to the huge play structure, there is a smaller playground in another area of the park. Whether you like sun or shade, this park has what you want. There are many access points from local neighborhoods. Two shelters are available for rent, one modern and one more rustic. They have nice drinking fountains where you can drink or fill your water bottle. The park is nicely maintained. The only thing less than optimal in my mind is that you can't bike on the unpaved trails (and almost none of the trails are paved). So, don't go here the biking. This park...

Hager Park is a fantastic spot for families, nature lovers, and anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors. The park is spacious, well-maintained, and offers something for everyone.

One of the standout features is the Imagination Station, a massive wooden play structure where kids can climb, explore, and let their creativity run wild. In addition to this, there’s a separate playground with plenty of fun activities, including a zip line that’s always a hit with the kids.

For those who enjoy a more peaceful experience, Hager Park also has beautiful walking trails that wind through wooded areas, offering a perfect escape into nature. The trails are well-kept and great for a casual stroll, a brisk walk, or even a quiet moment to relax and take in...

This is a great family park with a huge community built playground area. We like taking our dog here for walks on their beautiful trails. This isn't a huge park, but nice for an afternoon walk. It also has heated buildings you can rent for special events. Lots of native flowering plants come to bloom in the prairie and wooded parts of the park. There's also a small stream meandering through the middle of the park. Dog owners really need to be more conscientious about picking up after pets. Too much disgusting poop on the paths today.

Nice park for a family reunion with kids. We rented the Maples Picnic Shelter, which was nice and private. There were only about 20 of us, so we probably could’ve used the picnic tables in the trees that are closer to the playground, but didn’t want to chance the rain. We unfortunately didn’t end up using the playground much because the equipment got very hot in the sun in August. I would definitely recommend visiting the playground in the morning in the summer.

Always loved coming here as a child. Many years later the park has only improved. I love the massive wooden castle for the kids to play on, and the walking paths and other various playgrounds scattered throughout. Plenty of parking spaces available, clean restrooms and places to picnic and grill food. Also, for the trainers out there it's a hotspot for Pokemon GO. You can easily spend the greater part of a day here. Check it out!
