Went to the Slip-N-Slide event for the first time, it was a blast! Regardless of how hot it was and the long line up the hill, it was fun and refreshing. I really appreciate how they put together this community event for all ages, vendors and some activities for kids to earn prices, Sammy's soap-n-suds, splash pad and multiple tunnel slides 🛝 and soft rubber turf to walk on. You must sign a waiver for the slip-n-slide, (had 3 slides). You get sprayed with a hose at the top so you slide down easy, then you hit a puddle of water at the bottom. Get out of the way asap for the next people coming down. They also have a flat ground slip-n-slide section for kids 5 and under. Enterence and cover charge is very reasonable even at the entrance but discounted online for the tall slip-n-slides. All the other park activities are free from what I've observed. Make sure to look into going next year, it's...

Bring your sled, saucer, toboggan, snow board or just go down on your bottom. This park is usually packed on weekends in the winter. The sledding hill is pretty fast. Be aware that the west side of the field has a drainage ditch at the bottom. It is often filled with water (and sometimes...

After this previous year's renovation of the park, I can't see Rosewood being called "Charlie's Dump" again. The new parking lot, facilities, splash pad, etc. are just beautiful. This is a multi-use and multi-usable location throughout the year, from sledding to picnics to soccer to large events. I'm envious of families who live within...
