Went to the Slip-N-Slide event for the first time, it was a blast! Regardless of how hot it was and the long line up the hill, it was fun and refreshing. I really appreciate how they put together this community event for all ages, vendors and some activities for kids to earn prices, Sammy's soap-n-suds, splash pad and multiple tunnel slides 🛝 and soft rubber turf to walk on. You must sign a waiver for the slip-n-slide, (had 3 slides). You get sprayed with a hose at the top so you slide down easy, then you hit a puddle of water at the bottom. Get out of the way asap for the next people coming down. They also have a flat ground slip-n-slide section for kids 5 and under. Enterence and cover charge is very reasonable even at the entrance but discounted online for the tall slip-n-slides. All the other park activities are free from what I've observed. Make sure to look into going next year, it's...

Rosewood Park, Charlie's Dump, the Soccer Bowl. Whatever you call it, this park is fun with lots to offer. In the summer this park is known for its splash pad, giant slide, disc golf and soccer field. In the winter Charlie's Dump is the place to go sledding! Bring your sled, saucer, toboggan, snow board or just go down on your bottom. This park is usually packed on weekends in the winter. The sledding hill is pretty fast. Be aware that the west side of the field has a drainage ditch at the bottom. It is often filled with water (and sometimes...

I have heard Rosewood Park called "Charlie's Dump" - I assume this is because this park was at one time a landfill that has since been re-purposed. After this previous year's renovation of the park, I can't see Rosewood being called "Charlie's Dump" again. The new parking lot, facilities, splash pad, etc. are just beautiful. This is a multi-use and multi-usable location throughout the year, from sledding to picnics to soccer to large events. I'm envious of families who live within...

Very open and clean. Playground equipment is surrounded by foamy turf, vs peastone, woodchips, etc at other playgrounds. Splashpad area is small but my 1 year old was busy for hours. The giant slide and various slides on the way up are NOT in the water area (and the big slide was blocked off due to a crack part way down the tube when we were there). Lots of sun, not much shade. Bathrooms are central and clean and tons of grass and a giant hill for just running or rolling around. 👍

We wanted to try a different park, and Rosewood did not disappoint. I love that the ground is turf grass so there's no wood chips or mud to worry about. There's also fencing so containing multiple kiddos is much easier. The equipment is well maintained and so much fun! There's a covered picnic shelter and picnic tables with grills scattered around. Plenty of trees for shade, and benches with trash cans next to them. We can't wait to try the splash pad this summer

The surrounding turf is all very padded. There are also black pads placed throughout the park. There is a tall structure and a medium structure for different skill groups. There's also a wheelchair ramp to the medium one. The splash pad is very nice. It runs when the button gets pushed. Everything was very clean and well thought out. Today I came with a one, six and eight-year-old. They all loved it. There was plenty of parking available as well.
