Cool place a little off the beaten path. The path around the lake is wide and decently taken care of and a good walk with the dog. Lots of wildlife, including alligators. If you go to the left side of the lake when you come in, just past the cell tower, there’s a path to go to the wetland preserve which is really cool, but more naturalistic and overgrown with paths through the wetland itself. Saw at least 2 juvenile alligators there before I chickened out lol.

My wife and I stopped at this small park on our drive home from Florida to take a walk. It’s only 3 miles off Route 95 making for an easy place to take a walk. There are two lakes in the park which you can walk around. We ended up walking 2 miles going around both lakes and a little extra. There is a large pavilion with picnic tables. There are no facilities located inside the park.

This was a very nice walk with easy trails and water views. The signs say to watch out for alligators, but also be on the lookout for snakes! I saw a couple in our 30 minutes here. That being said, keeping dogs at a short leash is recommended as the snakes were in the middle of walking trails.
