Delaware Aviation Museum Foundation — Attraction in Georgetown

We flew in the B-25 Panchito and that was truly an unforgettable experience. Bill, who helped me organize this gift for my husband was amazing, and did everything he could to accommodate us. Every crew member was beyond nice and made sure we had a great experience. They are all volunteers who are passionate about aviation, and they spent time to tell us about the aircraft, the association and any thing we asked about. The gift was for my husband who is an aviation fan, he loved it. I loved it too and I’m so glad I took a ride as well. The aircraft is a piece of history and it’s genuinely a fabulous experience. Enjoyed a great experience & a dream come true getting to fly the famous World War II Bomber - the mighty B-25 Mitchell. This once in a lifetime experience is only possible due to all the great folks at the Delaware Aviation Museum Foundation who make it their mission to keep this historic airplane flying. Affectionately named “Panchito,” this plane is also available for living history rides and tours the country to attend events and airshows! A great little free museum centered on a B-25 in excellent working condition, with several other interesting single engine planes as well. It takes a lot of effort to keep planes like these in good working order, and the foundation does a great job. Their collection of items and literature is very nice as well.
