This was the first skateboard park I have been too. It is a very nice park. As you drive in from the main entrance of the park the GPS is a little misleading. If you follow the GPS around the soccer field on your right, drive straight towards the back of the parking lot until it curves to the left. Once it curves there is a parking lot that is dirt/grass right in front of the skateboard park or you can park in the paved parking lot that is in front of the bathrooms.

About the skateboard park itself, it seems to be mainly for teens and adults. I have two younger children and there was not much for them to do unless your child is more advanced with skateboarding. This would be an okay park for younger advanced children. Unfortunately, my kids are new to skateboarding and there are no little ramps for them.

I have looked up the area I live in and this is the closest park to us. Hopefully one day they will build a smaller skateboard park for younger children to skate. Until then I'll continue to look for other parks that have smaller ramps for younger children. This park was fun, however its more for teens, adults, and advanced children.

The main park itself has running trails, playground, volleyball, soccer, baseball? and over near the skateboard park there is a bike track to race bicycles. Watching them was...

Beautiful woods and some great easy path hiking. There's some new development happening to one side of the park that I'd hope isn't going to expand further or take away from the experience.

Also, the map system is strange. The maps on the trail weren't giving indications of location that made sense. You could be standing next to two paths that ran parallel to each other and see where they were on the map, but the map would indicate that you were somewhere totally different.

A similar experience with the mobile map. The park is connected to an athletic compound (which honestly looks great itself), but when using the mobile map, it was telling me to hike through the soccer field in the middle of a game, as though a trail might have been there at one point and no longer is. There were a few missing trails indicated on the map in the woods as well, but they weren't enough to get you lost.

All said, great experience, but the mobile map and trail post maps could...

2023-07: Still a beautiful park with a scenic trail with a lot of wildlife to see. My most recent visits included a treat of seeing a turtle along the trail, as well as baby frogs in many places and dragonflies that wanted to pose for pictures. ๐Ÿ˜‚. Well traveled and marked is some places but a little more rugged in some places. It's a cross country track, but there are some great portions of it for families with kids on the younger side.

2021-11: This is a very nicely kept area with multiple sports fields, BMX course, and skate park located at the furthermost end. There are public restrooms there as well. At the front of the park, right past the entrance is an unpaved parking area with a small playground, as well as the entrance to a nice walking/jogging/cross country trail that goes around the perimeter of the park. I spent a good bit of time on the trail and enjoyed seeing some wildlife without the "city sounds". I look forward to going back to see more...

Very well maintained park. Park Offers a single 3-mile running trail loop, 3 soccer fields, BMX bike course, skate park & for the kids a playground. Plenty of parking and the area is well lit (Excluding the the running trail) For the Running trail, it is well marked and maintained. You might see some horse poop here and there so watch your step, it also offers a lot of hills for training. There are restroom facilities and a water source on site.
