The 4-star rating needs an explanation. The RV side of this park is well maintained. Grass is green and kept short, road has no potholes, etc. There are about four RV sites with new, level concrete slabs. The rest are level stone and all sites are easy to access. All sites have 50/30/20amp, water and sewer, a picnic bench in good or new condition and most have a large fire pit bowl. They do a trash pick-up by 9:00AM, just leave it in front of your site early morning. This place is quiet, with only a few permanent residents but busier on weekends. Boat ramp is excellent. It has a kids play area, swing set, and a small, fenced dog park. Downsides: The park sign sneaks up on you and the driveway entrance is “hidden” on a slight bend. To make the turn with any trailer/bus, you need to be in the opposite lane and swing wide. After that it’s easy. The edge of the lake is overgrown in places and could use a tidy-up. It may have been left this way as a natural barrier to stop people from going where they shouldn’t, but it looks untidy. There are a couple of decrepit buildings in the park which need some attention (removal). Like I said it’s a 5 star park on the lake with a couple of things that might bother people. Wouldn’t be a review if you didn’t tell the whole story. Me? I love this place!!!

Absolutely love it here. We are full time RV'ers and we have been to a few places and this is our favorite in this area. Very quiet, clean and well kept. We will definitely be returning here in the future. The grass is so well kept. It looks amazing here

Smaller park, we'll layed our for easy maneuvering camper in & out, owner is friendly & varry knowledgeable of near by activities. Great fishing, basketball court & playground for. Kids. Well maintained park overall We will be coming back

Rent covers electrical and sewage, and the guy who runs it is a real straightforward type. No dumpster, so you HAVE to set out your trash for him to pick up. The water of the little lake is wonderful, lots of recreational fun to be had. It does come with typical "living close to water" problems though, so watch out. The ants are terrible, despite the owner's best efforts. Stock up on ant baits and traps...

My first fishing trip with the boys; what a beautiful segment of my life. Waking up at 4 AM to visit a park an hour away, to do nothing but fish and discuss who is the baddest girl at work, was, simply put, Euphoric. The park was full mesmerizing sights and sounds, as well as Toyota Tacoma's and empty tequila bottles. The parking was free and the...
