I first heard about this winery during a wine tasting in Hilton Head. I took a drive over to Sparta on the way back home. We were greeted in the tasting room by Cheryl. She was patient and let us try the wines and meads that we were untested in. The more you buy, the more of a discount pet bottle you receive. A case of wine is $13 a bottle. That's such a good price. The average bottle price is $16. I love that the wines are made with muscadine. My favorite is the blackberry bliss. They offer mostly sweet wines but also have a few dry wines and semisweet ones.
We returned a second time in December. I was able to schedule an appointment on a Sunday with Bo for them to open. He was great! Very informative and pleasant. He shared some good stories with us. We'll definitely be back...
Read moreI ran across a Muscapeno wine at The Georgia Tasting Room in Savannah a few years ago. It was love at first sip! Great jalapeños flavor, not too hot! I was living in Florida and was disappointed to find out they don’t ship there. Stopped there again on the way up to North Carolina during a permanent move, and ordered 2 cases to pick up when I passed through Savannah. It’s Hot Lips now, and it tastes every bit as good!
