Amazing, beautiful pools inside and outside. Make sure you have the schedule it get busy at times. Lily is the BEST instructor ever. My son swam ok but wanted to be a lifeguard. Well within 8 weeks he trained with her and passed his lifeguard text!!!!!! The pools are clean and warm. They have an adult swim too. We paid $8 to swim per day or a family can go for like 78 a month ( not totally sure) We go back and like it. Edit: Back again, Lily is getting our son ready to test for his Red Cross lifeguard certification. Lily is the best instructor ever!

Nice place to cool off in the summer with kids, 4'8 height requirement to use the slide, lazy river is nice but sometimes it gets crowded, the bathroom is clean, ticketing is a breeze, they take cash and credit card. The staffs and lifeguards are amazing and courteous. Overall a great family hangout, nice price too.Tons of parking, tons of shade.

My family enjoys the outdoor pool in the summer. My review is due to the blind spots from the lifeguards' vantage points as well as some of the lifeguards' lack of attention to the pool on the party side of the lazy river. There also should not be 1 lifeguard for the bottom of the slide, lazy river, and deck. It doesn't follow the 10/20 rule.

  • changed to four star until the jets are fixed. After they are fixed I will change it back to five stars* see below It was eye opening to see exactly what these jets -that were broken during my last visit-had been doing for the entire outdoor leisure area and what effect not having them working had on the entire outdoor pool functionality. There are other water features that are currently working but these jets are clearly the missing hero I never knew existed. These particular jets propel visitors forward in lazy river and keep things moving -whether you want them to or not. Way stronger than white water or similar lazy river. The aquatic center is a hotspot literally and figuratively with tons of kids potentially there at once. Without these amazing jets- kids start stopping! they begin going backwards or stopping altogether and grouping up and generally doing things that are counterproductive to a forward moving lazy river that starts morphing into a monstrous traffic jam of arms, legs and goggles. The leisure area really doesn’t work without those jets forcing everybody to go forth THAT WAY : ) I have tried with all my might every time I’ve been there to go against the current and it is futile but can be a blast when you’re coming around the bend and pick up some serious speed. Kids are great, the jets are great. we need the jets or it’s not a (not so)lazy river it’s just a traffic jam of kids doing whatever they want and not realizing they’re holding up the line or going in reverse etc So yeah NEED those jets back my aquatic friends ———-They offer swim lessons for the very young to any age and indoor lane swimming during posted hours/days. They also host swim team meets. What I really care about is the outdoor “leisure” pool. When it’s hot, people want to go here. It’s VERY reasonably priced ($7 or $8/per adult) it’s cheaper or free on kids depending on age of child . There are passes for the summer season which will save you even more money. In front is a fun area for the little ones that slowly gets deeper for the not so little. There’s a big slide at the back for those who meet the height requirement. Between the kid area and the slide is an intense “lazy river” that takes you around and through some other obstacle course type things. I like to swim underwater with my l goggles on through lazy river or get my slide on. This is no “lazy” lazy river-the current is strong! Food sold at concession-also reasonably priced. Sells out very fast...

I really struggled with how to put in words how I feel about the treatment of senior citizens and the handicapped from this center. In my blunt and honest opinion I believe that the aquatic center and the city of Cumming have purposefully set out to rid the center of all senior citizens and handicapped with the exception of those who are enrolled in paid exercise programs. I feel the director of the center(which appears to be a ghost due not ever being available in person or on the phone) has given strict orders to turn the instructional pool into a cube of ice. This pool is suppose to be heated between 83 to 86 degrees, however the temperature is lowering on each visit. I'm guessing on my visit last week it was 68 to 72 degrees. For senior citizens and the handicapped this is extremely dangerous and very uncomfortable. Water at that temperature causes severe muscle spasms and negates the purpose of trying to relieve our aches and pains. I and many others have voiced our concerns over this issue, however it falls on deaf ears. It is time for the director to either resign or take care of the concerns of the centers customers. This aquatic center is large enough to accommodate people of all ages. However it appears they are mainly focused on getting as much money as possible from the families with children. I once voiced my concern and was told to take it to the mayor! That's shows you just how much the staff really thinks of the senior population. It's a shame that a rural county like Habersham can accommodate the needs of all its citizens fairly but Forsyth County is only set out to satisfy the greater needs of those who provide the most revenue. Also I would like to thank the center for its generosity in allowing the seniors and handicapped one full hour on Sunday to soak our aching bodies in a block of ice before opening the floodgates and allowing what feels like hundreds of small children into the pool with us. It's extremely difficult to run for cover without being bumped, splashed and even knocked over before navigating our way through the maze. Shame on you for not caring enough about the handicap and senior citizens to just turn the temperature of...

Booked my daughters' birthday party at the Cumming Aquatic Center on 04-21-19 on 02-20-19 and I paid the deposit (see attached screenshot). This was the only day available that suited our calendars as there are many swim meets at the Aquatic center. We have handwritten invitations for her friends at school as well as set up a Facebook Invite page, planned a cake and food, had people RSVP to this event as well as my daughter has grown increasingly excited about her party. Well on Friday 04-05-19 I got a call from Anne at the Cumming Aquatic Center saying that "Oh we are closed that day for Easter Sunday". Firstly I thought that this is a Christian Holiday that this would not be celebrated (I am a Christian, so this is not a comment about faith, but why is this center closed for a Christian holiday, yet the state and church are supposedly separate?), secondly if there are computer systems and schedules in place, why was there not an X over the 4/21 date indicating they were closed, and thirdly how is it okay to ruin a kid's birthday party when the mother booked 6 weeks in advance? What am I supposed to do now? I had to email her teacher to somehow send a letter to all of the children she invited at school so none of them turn up for her non-existent party. So disgusted over something so stupid. The more I think about it the more annoyed I get. If this was your kids party how...
