I recently moved to Dacula and now this park is 5 min away from me and I absolutely love it!
There’s four entrances to Little Mulberry, but I only use the Fence Rd, and the Hog Mountain Rd entrances. Because I live so close to the Fence Rd entrance I didn’t realize how big this park is. About 15 miles pf trails. Once I took Hog Mountain Rd is when I realize how pretty it is, and how much stuff there is to do around.
There are playgrounds, grills, picnic tables, a fishing lake, lake & lakeviews, and Karina Miller Nature Preserve is also located in the middle of the park and it’s so pretty!
I love outdoors and having this park so close to me has changed my lifestyle. Definitely visit it if you’re in the area!

Read moreLittle Mulberry Park (or the Frog park as my daughter likes to call it) is a gorgeous park with two different terrains & sceneries. The trail itself is about 2.5 miles & if you walk from the kid's playground down the hill, it adds up to be about 2.8 miles in total for us. There are several entrances, including an equestrian trail that is 5.5 miles & absolutely gorgeous to just hike yourself even if you do not own a horse. The light bugs come out early in dusk & the entire forest lights up with them. You see a lot of runners & bikers due to how level the path is, allowing for this park to be an exceptional beginner park for those starting off biking or running. The few times I have gone, we have noticed the same people at the parks almost daily (which is cool to see their commitment). When we go, we typically see deer, geese, or frogs. If you go when the sun is setting & it gets dark, all of the frogs come out & makes for a pretty scary but fun night walk back to the car. Please plan your walk accordingly because it gets very dark & there is no light. We typically carry a lantern just in case we get caught due to time constraints. My only complaint is that there is a few individuals who bring their dirt bike/motorized bike which is loud, smells of exhaust, & scares the wild life. The ducks leave poop on the road so be mindful of your walk if that will bother you. The kids park is on the smaller side with...
Read moreI love this park, I have been walking it more and more while dealing with a high risk pregnancy issue which recommended frequent light exercise, As I have been here twice a week for almost 3 months, I have noticed a man, who is constantly walking up to small children engaging in conversation. Without speaking to parents. The first time I noticed him was when another parent actually called Gwinnett county on him for following his children on the playground and trying to engage in conversation with them, when I saw him again, it was a younger mom with her little boy who he approached on the small dock by the lake (ignoring his mother) just straight to the child. I have had my own encounter as well. I was first seated by the restrooms under the pavilion just watching birds, he was seated a table behind me. I began to walk the trail and ended up at the dock to see the turtles, about 15 minutes later he appeared behind me on the trail just watching me, just standing there. I got that feeling and left the park. I would just like to inform people to be aware and careful of their surroundings and other people’s behavior. He seems to be alone, walking with a cord for a phone I’m guessing, I’m not sure if it’s a mental issue, or what, but please just be aware. This is the Fence...
